I wrote this blog post called OpenGov: One big challenge? Or a thousand small hurdles as part of an ongoing exploration of how to equip organisations to actively engage with social media in participation, engagement and democratic contexts.

A number of comments on that post from Mike Amos-Simpson, Tara Robinson and Michelle Martin raised the idea of doing more with the list than simply putting it on a blog post - allowing us to collaborate around it's contents.

So - this a first attempt at doing that.

I'm also interested in how this project may contribute to creating an organisational change framework for social media and digital engagement.
